This workshop is great for anyone wishing to explore how the food we eat impacts all 54 symptoms of menopause. Eating healthy can be confusing. There’s so many diets out there! Cut through the confusion, and receive only evidenced based information and advice around the best choices to make that determine both a smooth peri and menopause journey, as well as aiding weight management. We will learn what’s happening to our body and begin to make sense of how this affects us in so many ways. Although there many changes we can make in mid life in this workshop we will discuss the importance of food when managing symptoms of menopause. You will come away from this workshop with simple lifestyle changes we can make to manage our menopausal symptoms either instead of, or alongside HRT. You will learn: How decreasing Oestrogen levels can unbalance many other important hormones that play a role in weight gain, hot flushes, mood, migraines, brain fog, joint pain and more. How our ageing blood vessels leave us susceptible to hot-flushes, joint pain, brain fog etc and what we can do to change this. How gut health also plays a part in all of the above. Why eating less and exercising more doesn’t work anymore in this stage of life. How WHEN and HOW we eat, is as important as WHAT we eat when considering weight-loss and symptom management. Foods to include and foods to avoid to help us to achieve our goals. You’ll come away with specific tools that are individual to you, to implement the very next day. Symptoms can be turned around in days. With the right information and a little support it just might easier than you think.
